Where to go organic in Copenhagen
Copenhagen has an overall green profile and is known as the Capital of Sustainable Meetings because of its experiences with sustainable meetings management.
Last year, Copenhagen held the official title European Green Capital 2014, thanks to the overall efforts with climate and environmentally friendly solutions. The city is home to several organic eateries in all price ranges, many suitable for private parties and events, such as the two Michelin-starred restaurant Geranium, which offers New Nordic cuisine cooked with fully organic and seasonal ingredients.
The reasonably priced no-waste restaurant Rub & Stub cooks with organic surplus food donated by local fishmongers, bakers and farmers.
You can even purchase an organic hotdog at DØP (in Danish only), an organic hotdog stand situated in the heart of Copenhagen.
