    Thomas Rode, former Head Chef at Michelin-starred Restaurant Kong Hans, Managing Director, Author and TV Personality, is embarking on a collaboration with Kurhotel Skodsborg, just north of Copenhagen. From 1 July 2014 the former Michelin-chef will help further develop the spa hotel’s health profile with a range of activities combining functional training and nutrition, while at the same time strengthening the hotel’s overall profile.

The bees were envoys from The Capital of Sustainable Meetings, with a message to all in the meetings branch that they can improve their environmental footprint, and #BeeSustain.

    Spisehuset Rub & Stub in Copenhagen is the first restaurant in Europe to actively tackle the issue of food waste. All the dishes served are created from surplus ingredients from the food industry, while the employees are mainly volunteers.     The Bella Center Group is constantly working to strengthen the group's service at all levels. The latest initiative is an expansion of the free shuttle service, which is currently found at one of the groups two hotels, Crowne Plaza Copenhagen Towers, to also include the hotel Bella Sky Comwell. In doing so, Bella Center's joint hotel business is the only one in Copenhagen that offers a free shuttle to and from the airport all day long.

    Copenhagen Airport and Copenhagen's City Bee Association have set up ten beehives on the airport's land, and passengers will soon be able to buy products produced on site – by the airport's new striped friends. The project is part of Copenhagen Airport's strategy of creating unique experiences for the many millions of travellers who each year travel to and from the airport.

    Owned by the Danish Agriculture and Food Council, KolleKolle is beautifully located in the Municipality of Furesø, only 20 minutes’ drive north of Copenhagen. The High Court has found the floor to be unlawful. The owners behind the hotel, Bella Center A/S, are disappointed with the verdict, but respect it and will not pursue the case.
