The accommodation scene in Copenhagen is increasing with both new hotel openings and existing hotels expanding. Currently, there are close to 22,000 rooms to pick and choose from and in the years to come, especially in 2017, a wide range of hostels, hotel apartments, and luxury suites will open and extend the selection of accommodation options giving the city a total of 24,752 rooms. We have listed some of the exciting openings below.

New hotel openings
With an ambition to become Copenhagen’s best hostel, Danish family owned Arp-Hansen Hotel Group will open their first hostel in the center of the city in the summer of 2017. The hostel will hold 1,000 beds and 280 rooms, all with shower and toilet. Due to the new hostels’ large size, the hostel meets the needs of conferences with large groups of people, who wish to stay cheap and central.
